The fact that they haven't rescinded CJOs yet can only be good news for those who work here. I mean can you take the drastic step of furloughing a pilot and all the future training costs that come with that if you still have CJOs out? The recent news from United about taking seats out of the 175s to make them 70 seat aircraft to get around scope makes me thing that Republic expects all their United aircraft to be flying by Oct 1st. That is pure speculation on my part though.

Glad to hear, I also had a class scheduled for June... anything other than rescinded offer is music to my ears at this point. Any idea if cadet offers are more dispensable than an FO offer letter that is good for 6 months? I was a cadet with a class.
I hope that all of you pilots working are able to stay employed and support your families, good luck to all.

Not sure how many they have exactly in the cadet pool but trying to figure out if it makes sense keeping them vs a FO letter. Maybe it doesn't matter but 5 years is a long time, so if they were going to dump anything it would probably be that program first.

There is a pool then there is actual cadets.

Whichever the case, I’m grateful to still have a seat with the company. But still anyone’s guess come October. Though, I’m optimistic. When hiring comes back, it’ll be the furloughed pilots, then us, then OTS. Assuming hiring minimums change, I think the cadets are safe.

Just to give you a heads up the pilots on furlough have not gotten any update yet. We are still waiting to see what is going to happen in the next week weeks to months. In addition the airline industry has to get over the hump that is a few months away and that is September 31. When that dates comes we will have to see what the industry is going to go.
