Default My recruiter reached out to me yesterday

For the first time since early March, I heard directly from my recruiter yesterday. It was a pleasant surprise, and it felt like the general mood and outlook had shifted to a positive one.

Obviously, no class date scheduled - but also a much better correspondence than the rescinded CJO that was being predicted by many. A sigh of relief on my end for sure.

I hope you guys are doing well and schedules are continuing to pick up. Disney and some other big parks opening back up this summer will hopefully start the snowball effect we need.

It was just a standard check-in, asking about progress and hours and whatnot - checking to see how things were going since Covid. Nothing particularly ground breaking, but I was relieved to hear from them for a couple reasons. First, really glad my recruiter wasn’t laid off. Second, it can’t be anything but a positive that they’re back to checking in on their “pool.”

Gotcha, definitely a good sign. I'm cautiously optimistic

I heard from mine 2 weeks ago and it was nice as well. I’m thinking airlines are figuring **** out an routes are def being added faster than expected!

That’s good! My recruiter did get laid off. She was super dope, but I was relieved when my new recruiter reached out to me.

I hope this all comes back faster than we predicted. I had a class date for June and wondering when Republic does come
back if we will be wiped out from system for a fresh start and new minimums or if we’ll be able to keep our spots in the hiring line.
