Default Better times coming?

How are things looking on the line? Higher loads? Less cancellations?

Higher loads yes. Less cancellations for sure. Airlines have kind of figured out the amount of flights they need now. I'm seeing more flights being added to open time randomly.

Hub airports seem pretty busy whenever I'm there, but it seems like most of the arrivals and departures are coming in big blocks which might make it seem like there is more going on. Still lots of planes parked everywhere so we aren't quite out of the woods yet, but it sounds like more and more are being put back online.

Still a lot of aircraft parked, and those that are flying are not flying full normal days. Yes, higher loads. But TSA numbers are only creeping up right now. Need to see a higher rate of increase. Hopefully things opening up will help that along.

Loads will always look higher when 10 NYC-MIA flights become 2 NYC-MIA flights

Give it time wait until New York starts opening up.

Our block hours for July 2020 are at about 50% of what they were in July 2019. If those schedules remain, I'd say yes, better times are coming.

I’d be happier if UA, DL and AA were at 50% block hrs YOY. They are at like 25%, 30% and 40% I think for July. Not seeing the forest for the trees.

I think it's a pretty standard element of recovery that the regionals will outpace the majors in the early stages.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see that, too, but the fact any market segment is getting close to 50% just 2-3 months after the worst of it is a good sign overall.

Time will tell if it's fool's gold or not.

How screwed are we when it comes to scope? Won't it be difficult for us to recover before the codeshares start putting more planes back in service?
