Lonestar32. If you are all knowing the please post what was sent.

You are currently fear mongering.
Your spreading a false narrative.

My "narrative" is only wrong if more than 40% of pilots are furloughed since I said "up to 40%". I am not sure how I could have said that any better as to not trigger you snowflakes.

Considering I am well within that 40% I hope I am wrong. But I am not an idiot either. The tea leaves are out there. ohh yeah, if hiring ever starts again at Republic don't come here for IAH, you'll regret it.

This is very far away from the language that was in the Union email. And now we have two pages of people saying how what you said was kind of stupid instead of talking about the matter at hand.

Yes, it is unfortunate that you've succeeded in derailing this thread because you have a comprehension problem. There are still people with CJOs or thinking of coming here that do not get Union emails. It would be helpful for them to know what is going on without your trolling.

Yet you were here within minutes of my post to either post about it or check to see if it was posted. Hypocrite much?

Well this went about as well as expected.

LoneStar said up to 40%. That's not the same as him saying there will be 40%. At the same time, it would've made sense to add what our union said that we don't expect the pilot group to run that deep.

At the end of the day, no one knows; it's all speculative.

Everyone agrees you were wrong. Move along, nothing to see here

How about this: I agree that in a technical sense Lonestar wasn't wrong. And I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't intentionally sensationalizing the email.

Can we now discuss the email now?

For example, the Union says they have no numbers from the company. What kind of numbers seem reasonable given 55% flying as the "high water mark."

Human beings by nature will read something and interpret in a fashion that reinforces their own personal biases, beliefs, expectations and hopes. This is why we’re having a large Covid-19 resurgence...people reading and interpreting the facts and data in a way that supports their view point. It’s the same reason two people can look at the same glass of water and say “oh, the glass is half empty...panic” and the next person say “oh, the glass is half full...celebrate”!!

The moral. Make your post. Move on. People will interpret the information they way they want to.

I admit I could have worded it better. Now lets hope the Union can work some magic and preserve as many jobs as possible.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...-idUSKCN24F2SW

Going into phase 3 testing around July 27 with the Moderna vaccine. Volunteers who got 2 doses of the vaccine had high levels of virus-killing antibodies that exceeded the average levels seen in people who had recovered from COVID-19.

Hopefully by October this vaccine is MUCH further along and we can minimize any sort of furloughs. Really hoping this comes through.
