Well it's a good thing PIT is junior!
How do you "barely hit 40k a year" flying on year 6 payscale? Do you drop all your trips?

But not long enough to be on Cpt Year 3 PayScale yet.........(which at the rate the Majors are hiring, I am not sure I'll make it here that far).
Well, good luck to you. The majors are calling!
Hopefully soon, I hate to see people unhappy at their work.

meh, think whatever you want. My interest in changing your mind has quickly evaporated. You're the same joker that thinks 250 hour commercial pilots should be flying Part 121 passenger jets.

If prospective hires are only looking at guaranteed pay, then what are they looking at to convince them to come here and fill classes?

right because all these older guys retiring that were hired at 250tt have crashed soooooooooooooo many 747/767/777/787 in their careers......crazy to think at 250 hrs these guys were in war flying planes, dropping bombs, but today's kids are too much of a snowflake to handle such responsibility even with all the automation that has been implemented....

Our website might not, but, our contract does. You know, incentive pay, premium pay, cancellation pay, expense reimbursement, etc. Surely you have access to all of that.

Of course not, but it is part of your compensation, as such, should be considered.

It's called SJS "Shinny Jet Syndrome" that's the only thing attracting new hires. If all this "soft pay" and "bonuses" were guaranteed income, then the company would be BLASTING it all over their websites/social media, to attract new hires.....problem is only 75 hrs time your 1st year F/O rate of pay is the only "PAY GUARANTEE" you have........so in training now, how much "soft pay" are you getting? I'll let the others fill us in on how "soft pay" is guarnteed and explain to you why you are not seeing it in your check at the training center. Since according to them, it is so "guaranteed" and needs to be factored in. How can you factor it in, when you are not even getting it?
