Enjoy a career at the ULCCs I guess.
He said he’d bounce if a new contract didn’t happen, and I don’t think that’d be a lateral move at all. I imagine it would be pretty easy to sell the move, given he’ll be making double at just about any other regional. That’s a pretty substantial QOL improvement.

Guess he doesn't have to worry anymore since we have an AIP. Hopefully TA is reached and sent out to pilots by next week

As if anyone would care. If they need people, they'll hire people. If the need is much reduced, then maybe someone might ask. Any answer other than "Uhhhh..Idontknow..." will suffice.
And then they'll ask why you wore a red tie
And then they'll ask why you wore brown shoes instead of black
Good luck explaining that...enjoy your career at a ULCC (as if that is a bad thing if you found what works best for (the generic) you.

I mean if the contract is crap,I'm gone. I dont blame him/her I'll just deal with commuting on the airlines again instead of driving to base... Def not staying here for less than $90 an hour as a 3rd year FO

Bringing this thread back to the top because I wish I would have listened to those before me. This place is an absolute dumpster fire. Parking airplanes, no captains, and no flying for first officers. I have already left the company but wanted to put this out there as a WARNING for the next group of hopeful regional pilots. Recruiting and management will lie to your face just to get you inside those doors. Don’t fall prey, just like many of us have recently done over the last 8-10 months.

Well, they have paused hiring until at least this fall, so there is nobody left to warn.,

Congrats on moving on. I don't know of too many regionals that are balls to the wall hiring FOs unless they have previous 121 time or that are fully staffed on the CA side of the house. This is not just a Republic problem.

No flying for JUNIOR FOs. I’m sure that’s what you meant so I’ll help clarify it. Plenty of flying for those with a little seniority.
