I don't know if it will keep people here though...regionals are still not a destination airline for most people. There will have to be retention bonuses or bleeding will continue. My classmates (early 2022 hires) are already dwindling. I think...maybe I hope...that the regional model is on the way out. Not sure how it will look in a few years but I don't think they can keep up these pay rates or keep losing pilots at current rates. |

Mostly just more pay. Direct contributions to 401k instead of matching- 6 years to be fully vested. No more 2500 hour requirement to upgrade. 100% pay for deadhead. No more doctor's note for sick call (same sick day limits). Many other minor tweaks, most in pilot's favor. The "no's" were mostly unhappy about the 401k vesting and the lack of any bonus. They also don't like that FO pay is capped at 4 years (incentive to upgrade). Not a perfect contract but I'd say it was 90% perfect.

Congrats on your TA passage.

Is this permanent or temporary? All of AAs regionals got pay bumps, but it's only guaranteed for 2 years.
