A bit over a year FO currently very happy at republic. Yea there’s always issues like any other job but if you want to make money you can certainly do it here. Our soft pay is great, and if you want PIT that’s one of those bases I
that’s picking up all the flying from LGA, EWR and BOS. I also drive to work and reserve days I don’t get call is like having the day off. If you want to drive to work come on over you’ll be welcome but like others mentioned 13 years still a good amount of time!

Thank You
Thanks for all the responses and feedback. It’s exactly what I was looking for.
While I can’t argue with anyone advocating another run at the majors, I just don’t want to go through that commuting, ladder climbing grind again. I know I’m likely leaving money on the table, but it comes down to simple contentment for me… what would make me happy? I’ve flown the big stuff, the trans-con’s, and the red-eyes. I’ve had the life of a 9-5 husband and dad. Now I just want to drive to work, fly a nice plane, eventually do some IOE and help folks reach their goals, make a decent buck, and drive home after I set the parking brake.
I accepted the RPA DEC job. See yinz on the line in a few months. 🤓

What are the travel benefits at RAH? I know you get travel on the big three, does it include their partner carriers for overseas travel? If there a yearly fee? What pass category or priority level on each of the big three? what about family? Parents or spouses' parents? Kids? up to what age? Do you get to include and friends too? (I know AA lets their employees list up to 13 people related or not). Do you keep any of that after retirement if you stayed there till retirement?
Are the benefits useable these days? How do you list? do you have to use all three sperate listing websites?
probably have the same Interline/ID90/ZED as everybody else right?

How many flying hours did you see in your first year at RPA (I realize this post was in March) and how far are you to CA (or maybe you're there already)? RPA has started interviewing FOs again, which means they will be required to sign the new hire contract in order to work there. Have you been privy to class sizes in the past month and heard anything from the new hires about the contract?
Base / Where you fall after 1 year / 2023 YTD Hours (Jan - May).
BOS: Top end of Reserve. 45 - 150
CMH: Clean Line. 230 - 420
DCA: Bottom end of Line Holders / Top end of Reserve. 175 - 380
EWR: Top end of Reserve. 55 - 190
IND: Clean Line Holder. 350 - 480
LGA: Reserve: 70 - 110
ORD: Bottom end of Line Holders: 270 - 400
PHL: Top end of Reserves. 100 - 175
PIT: Clean Line. 210 - 400
SDF: Bottom end of Line Holders. 160 - 260
Again, these are very rough numbers for those hired around May 2022.
[edit] I should add that you will not fly as much on reserve compared to a line so strictly multiplying the hours of a line holder "today" will not really account for the hours while on reserve "yesterday". Knocking off a few hundred hours will get you a more realistic number. Most on here will understand this, but this is for those who are not yet familiar.
