Anyone a RPA cadet waiting for a class date
 

Been on the waitlist since january, just trying to see when others who were on the waitlist got a date.

I hope you have a backup plan. I was a cadet in 2022 and ultimately left because the classes kept getting canceled.

I interviewed in early December and got on the waitlist shortly after, I have buddies in their classes now as well as various people I've talked with online who interviewed around the same time. It appears that People who interviewed / were put on the waitlist in early November and late October got March class dates, I suspect that Late Novemeber early December will get either April or May class dates and late December early January will get June / July. This is only speculation though, but I do know most of the Novemeber waitlist people got about a month notice or less. Also make sure to check in with your recruiter every once and a while because I know several recruiters have left within the previous months causing some people to fall through the cracks.

Any of your friends cadets? And you have buddies who interviewed early december in class now?

My friends in class were cadets, but from what I can tell it just matters when you were put on the waitlist. I dont know of anyone who interviewed in December in a class right now I'm pretty confident we will get more information at the begining of next month though. My buddy in class right now said they have 35 planes grounded due to lack of crews which yes is probably mostly due to the captain shortage, but also due to all the FOs that went to legacies - I know of 3 guys from my part 141 who worked at Republic as FOs who've been picked up by Delta / United within the past 3 months.

I was talking to a cadet who was placed on the waitlist mid january and was offered a class for march and I was also told that by two recruiters so cadets do have priority but if you just did the interview yes, it does matter when you were put on the waitlist. Can I ask when your buddies were placed on the waitlist?

And as long as the majors pick up FO's there will be FO hiring at the regionals

Lucky guys who obviously got in before the contract. May will be the one year mark when the contract was introduced. The way it's been sounding on this board and reddit is that RPA has been churning out FO's at a steady pace every month so I would think the imbalance will start to level out in the next 6 months or so. We'll also have a judgement on the court case in the next few months as well.

Actually may not be. According to the union a few recent hires have moved on.
