"Hey there, just an update for anyone with a pending application at Republic Airways. Our applicants with CJO’s exceed 400 people. We are expected to hire 60 pilots the next two months then it will be dropping to 20-30 each month there after. No longer hiring direct entry captains. If you haven’t received a response in your application I would recommend looking at flying for a 135 company and building time that way. When selecting applicants to move forward as well as who with the CJO who are getting the earlier class dates it is coming down to quality of time. Unfortunately Instrucor time for the 1000-1500 hours isn’t that competitive due to the industry at the moment. Applicants with existing 121 turbine time, 135 turbine time, and 91 turbine time will be given priority. Also, if you aren’t actively flying multi planes I would recommend working on that."

I saw someone posted this on facebook a day or two ago.

Not sure if this adds anything but they’re also prioritizing 141 ratp applicants on the waitlist. Per a recruiter at career fair recently. I’ve had friends with min multi no turbine time that got a class recently after waiting only 3 weeks. So I guess that factors into their formula.

I wonder if that's because having a restricted ATP makes it more difficult to leave, kinda locking them in to RPA (don't think majors hire rATP applicants. But who knows, there's always someone who find a way to Delta or United with minimum experience).

[QUOTE=Cfilifer;3897579]He was a cadet though so I reckon that helped him get a class quicker. Our recruiter said classes are around 60% cadets right now. That would make sense since most majors don't take ratp and we'd stay around for longer. That or they may put a lot of stock into the curriculum to graduate from these schools.[/

I'm guessing they will increase the monthly hiring number soon. Our staffing plateau'd last month, and this month staffing basically didn't move in spite of the hiring.... meaning attrition has started up again.
