OAL Jumpseat priority question on Republic
Hoping some republic guys can answer this for me. What's jumpseat priority for OAL on your Eagle republic flights? Does the fact that you have 'American Eagle' painted on the side of your planes mean anything at all should an Envoy or American pilot show up? I keep hearing mixed things out on line.

Code share pilots, AA/AA express (Eagle), follow our own people on a first come first serve basis. Mainline jumpers don't get priority over Express. All other airlines then follow first come first serve.

1. Republic employee
2. Eagle (envoy)
3. OAL
So I could potentially get bumped off a Republic jumpseat in Eagle colors if an envoy guy shows up?

I don't think so. RAH aircraft (regardless of paint). 2 RAH pilots (1 Shuttle/1 Republic). It goes by DOH. Everyone else is time of check-in. RAH aircraft = RAH pilot, then everyone else.

You're correct about Republic Airways Holdings but wrong about Republic in particular. First priority is any RAH pilot. After that codeshare does indeed have priority. So if it's an AA flight then AA/Express/Eagle have second priority. Then all others. It's in the FOM. OAL riders are much further down the priority list at 7 in Republic's FOM.

This is exactly the issue I'm talking about, I can't seem to get a straight answer, even from pilots I've talked to in person.
So, scenario. I (United Express) am listed and checked in for jumpseat on a republic flight dba American Eagle. Can an Envoy or AA guy bump me off?
I've asked this to a few republic crews that I've actually jumpseated on and they couldn't give me a straight answer either. One would say AA/Envoy gets priority, the other would say they wouldn't.
thevagabond, you're saying the FOM specifically states that Envoy/AA can indeed bump OAL for the jumpseat?
