What happens to my 1000 shares of Republic stock (RJETQ) when they "EMERGE" from bankruptcy in the 1st quarter of 2017?

Most likely they reissue the stock and yours are worthless.

A dec 12 filing in the courts described that they are going to cancel the equity in the shares and issue new common stock. I don't believe your previous claim to equity entitles you to any new shares.

How is this still a question? Been known for awhile now that they'll be cancelled. You should've dumped them a long time ago. Poor planning.

Wait until after the BK is complete, and the new stock is issued, then buy. In most BK cases, the "Q" stock is zeroed out and a total loss to the holders.

Plan of reorganization has been filed. Expected to emerge Q1. According to info shared during my interview, the goal is to emerge mid February.

Apparently Delta, United and AA will collectively own more than 60% of Republic.

Sort of surprised there's no anti-trust issue with that. Or that the three are okay with the other two owning a piece.
