CE310 crashes on 405 fwy...

The aircraft crashed onto Freeway 405 northwest of John Wayne-Orange County Airport (KSNA), Santa Ana, California. The aircraft was partially consumed by the ensuing fire and the two occupants onboard were injured.

I think some of this outrage is misplaced. I'm not saying there's not some self-disclosed buffoonery available. Filming the crash from the driver's seat while operating a motor vehicle on the 405 as a start. In the early portion of that video, the aircraft initially has zero line of sight motion and is coming his way. You gotta wonder about someone whose first instinct isn't deconfliction from the oncoming threat, but rather, "Better get my cell phone out and get some video for my facebook page". Actually, he was probably already texting 
, so the phone must have been readily available.
But, in the videos I see:
A group of people near the burning aircraft helping the occupants with at least a half-dozen civilian cars parked on the side of the road.
A guy running on the side of the freeway in the direction of the crash.
EVERY still or video has a fire truck and/or first-responders in the picture.
People film everything these days. They're idiots. But when you're on a major freeway with multiple cars already stopped in the breakdown lane to help and emergency personnel on the scene, how much additional help is the average idiot with a cell phone camera going to be? They'd probably just end up getting tagged by a passing car and become part of the problem. There is such thing as too much help in that situation, IMO.

Look at the video of the Skywest evacuation at DEN with the engine fire. People weren't even past the wingtip before turning around to film the blazing engine. It's lucky someone wasn't run over by a crash truck while backing up with their phone in their face.
