Seemed like an intense, concise storm, from the bits I see. Not long afterwards, during the rescue phase, it’s nice out again. It’s a fair amount easier dealing with adverse weather planning to takeoff, delay.
Yes, let the investigation run it’s course. I can also go back to the adage, ‘things can work, right up until they don’t. If operating with reduced margins, one day Mr Murphy will pay a visit.

On Avherald there are videos taken by left and right side passengers. The videos make it seem like the plane got airborne for a few seconds and then came back down to the runway hard enough to make the engines shear off. They are all really fortunate that fire waited a few minutes to engulf the fuselage.
There is also a time lapse of the storm that they took off in as it moved over the city. That doesn't look like a pretty thing in which to attempt a takeoff.
