Intent with my post was to straighten out the talk of “It holds 11pax”. This model did not. Very few North American operators order it with the utilitarian commuter 9 Seat config and instead opt for the 6, 6+2, or 8 seat cabin. (6+2 is 6 exec seats with 2 smaller, removable Jumpseat’s in the rear).

From what I gather, normal company pilot was not on board and was instead flown by the owner who was much less experienced.

Now, to step into my quarterback uniform, I think we all know how this is gonna play out: inexperience+contamination=accident.

The company had a pilot on staff too.. but didn't bring him along for this personal trip
