Default Spoiler issue in 12/15 Fatal GIV-SP Crash

https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-n...ource=hs_email

Crew wrote up the spoiler actuator on the right wing after landing. 3 hour job to replace the ground spoiler actuators. Video shows the jet still being worked on after being towed from the hanger to the ramp. After pax boarded crew did a control check. Both spoilers extended but only the left wing ones retracted. Jet was seen taxing for departure with 3 right wing spoilers still deployed. A witness image of the jet in flight showed right wing spoilers deployed while left ones are retracted. Flight lasted 16 minutes.

Unbelievable that no one on the ground noticed on taxi out. Doesn't appear a pax could see that. Does the G4 have any cockpit indications of spoiler position.

Here's the still from the airport video of the aircraft during the taxi out for anyone who hasn't looked at the report.

Meh. You'd need some degree of technical expertise on the specific plane to really know that. Plus normal flight control checks will cause various things to move around and deploy, and ground personnel are used to seeing that.

Mad Dogs taxi around like this all the time...

Yes it would have to be someone involved in the repair or operation of the A/C. Still is there any indication in the cockpit?
