Default Student Pilot runs out of gas, gets DUI

https://www.avweb.com/aviation-news/...state-landing/

35yr old Student pilot runs out of gas, lands on I-70 22nm from Kansas City Downtown airport and hits a guardrail. He got charged with DUI, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash, felony drug and gun possession, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

One of the comments on the article: He has fallen out of the family tree and hit every branch on the way down. Another comment: Liquor, Dope, and a Gun. Everything you need to fly with....except fuel.

Here's a video by a lawyer discussing the case:

The student appears to be the owner of the airplane and the principle of "warrior aviation." The aircraft appears to be a warrior. Warrior aviation has one client: the owner, and student pilot, subject of the thread.

I've seen it before. Person buys airplane, gets solo endorsement, then starts taking trips around the country. I've had two whom I refused to endorse after learning of their private excursions, including with passengers.
