Falcon 20CF Dual Engine Failure @14K

They lost both engines at 14,000 feet enroute from Pontiac, MI to Grand Island, NE. They attempted to divert to Lansing but realized they wouldn't make it so diverted to Mason, MI which has a 4,000ft runway. They went off the end but escaped with minor injuries.

Solid work. At least they all walked away.

Yes nice work.

Must have been a fuel issue, contamination? Or the same guy changed both oil filters

ATC Dude needs some remedial airplane training though...

"Confirm you lost both engines?"
"Affirmative"
"OK, descend at pilot's discretion and maintain 3000"

At least he didn't say climb and maintain, and then issue holding instructions.
