Bizarre noises take over American Airlines...

"Bizarre noises take over American Airlines flight intercom"

I am placing this in "Safety" because this appears to be a hack in one of the onboard computers.
What else can be hacked? (spoiler alert: EVERYTHING ELSE)

Yes, it's a concern. But the IFE uses fairly standard network protocols and is obviously accessible via wifi... so soft target.

Aircraft nav and control computers are not accessible and use more arcane protocols. So much harder... would need someone with actual specific technical expertise (ie worked on the system for the manufacturer) or the cyber warfare capabilities of an advanced nation state.
