The Legacies should not be allowed to outsource flying as a cost saving measure. It should be required all their flying be done in house. Outsourcing concentrates inexperienced at the regional level affecting safety. Inexperience is better distributed at the LCC/ULCC simply because all flying is in house. Maybe Trump will catch on to this and do something about it. Maybe passengers will wake up to this fact and demand better accountability. At least colgan forced the legacies to disclose the operating airline on the ticket and fuselage(though in small print). As the legacies pick up hiring again we will only see more of this unfortunately.

What caused you to grow up without any class?

So it’s ok to kill people as long as they’re paying less money for their ticket?

Maybe too soon

The CA reportedly has over 20 years at Endeavor. How does that fit your narrative?

8 injuries, no fatalities. Good news.

Regionals still require 5 times the amount of experience required at mainlines around most of the planet…..just sayin

Regional airlines have been operating safely for decades. Major airlines today operate with highly inexperienced pilots compared to fifteen years ago. I have a feeling this accident had little to do with lack of experience. And isn’t Endeavor owned by Delta? You could argue that is in-house.

what about the UAL 777 that did a nose-dive in Maui? Or the AA 777 that crossed an active runway while a 737 was on a takeoff roll? How’s that fit into your narrative?

Airliner full of paying pax with injuries...upside down. Not very good news. Scaring/hurting/killing pax is bad service. Bad landing technique, calling it now.
