Without knowing much else, kudos to the crew! From what I can see, a lot of passengers were able to get out alive.

NBC just stated that they received a source from ATC that the crew reported hitting birds. I also believe that everyone is okay, with no fatalities. I would think that there would be some hypothermic cases though.

WOW

Incident report on this will be most interesting. Looks like there's an excellent chance everyone got off ok.

Good thing all those ferries were nearby. That's some darned cold water out there. (Or maybe they were just lawyers swarming for clients?)

Nice job crew!

They're saying 146 on board. Its floating well and all of those ferrys responded. They said the river has white caps on it so its not really that calm.

Hell of a good job.
Ditto from me. Nice job with the ditch!

CNN is reporting a dual engine flameout as a result of a flock of geese.

Pretty amazing, as the aircraft is floating nicely down the river while the ferries unload the passengers.

CNN is talkng to a passenger right now - seams everybody managed to get out and on to the waiting ferries - now they are just watching a floating aircraft!
