10 th Anniversary AF 4590
 

Hard to imagine it's been ten years and that this Sunday will mark the 10th anniversary of the loss of AF 4590 and would be the beginning of the end for such a beautiful a/c.
Makes one wonder where the time goes.

Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years already.

I remember it well, as I was at the Farnborough Air Show at the time. I was touring the new A-340 they had displayed, and the French reps were all talking on their mobile phones, and one told me "Le Concorde, it has crashed...". Tragic. I was on a bus full of reporters, leaving the site, and none of them knew. By the time we reached the BritRail station, all their mobile phones were ringing.
