Runway 23L, 11000 long. This was not a runway overrun, but rather a runway turnoff excursion. Looks like they may have tried to take one of the high speeds at "too high a speed" for the slick conditions. Nose gear ended up in the mud, no other damage. Best advice I've ever gotten for slick runways - "if you have to add power to turn off the runway, you're at the right speed."

Glad everyone is safe.

"The federal Transportation Safety Board is investigating"

FTSB? Never heard of them.

Good reporting, AP / MSNBC!

When I Googled FTSB I got a lot of hits for the Federal Transportation Safety Board - Canada
Transportation Safety Board of Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since this mishap happened in Canada, maybe they were reporting this organization would be investigating (more than likely in conjunction with the NTSB).

It's 24L which only has 9600...24R is 11000
