Same $#!! different day!!!

Politicians???

Lets see, everyone wants a tax break, illegal immigrants want benefits, black americans want reparations for being "drug" to america. Have you been to Africa?? Trust me, they're better off here. Slavery was a huge tragedy in this country, I will admit, but unfortunately it was a necessity, thankfully one that will not have to be repeated.

America will never be what it used to be and we will never see the prosperity that our forefathers have seen. Unless you count an "entitlement" as prosperity.

 I did not know that slavery was a necessity. I will admit that it made a lot of money, but I don't believe slavery was up there with food, shelter, and water in the 1700s and 1800s.

Getting a little off track here, but history is full of examples of slavery and indentured servitude.

"Among the earliest examples of plantations were the latifundia of the Roman Empire, which produced large quantities of wine and olive oil for export. Plantation agriculture grew rapidly with the increase in international trade and the development of a worldwide economy that followed the expansion of European colonial empires. Like every economic activity, it has changed over time. Earlier forms of plantation agriculture were associated with large disparities of wealth and income, foreign ownership and political influence, and exploitative social systems such as indentured labor and slavery."

Now we no longer need such brutal methods, all that is required is to place the harness on the taxpayer and have him pull the plow.

And the number of those pulling the plow are under 46%.

This Senator continues to be an embarrassment to pilots
"...and I'm a United States Senator..." Like that should make a difference.
Obviously he believes he is above the law.

He's a jackass for sure, and I wouldn't trust him with my worst enemies kid in a plane... however I agree with the contents of the bill.

USMC you're a fed now, and thus part of the problem!

I'm still on probation ;)
Once I'm assured of a job - I'll rock the boat for sure!
I'm already pushing the boundaries by sending in change notices to our long standing manuals :D

My favorite quote.....

"I did nothing wrong, but at any time I could have suffered the revocation of a license," he said.

Uh, yeah you did.... you didn't read the notam's and landed on a closed runway.

However, I do like the idea's in this "pilot's bill of rights". I feel we, as pilot's, should have access to all things related to a possible investigation against us to insure it is correct and defend our actions if needed.
