I know next to nothing about the 'Bus - do they have the Rosemount style pitot tubes which also incorporate the static ports? If so, wouldn't the static ports also have likely iced over being part of the same failed probe?

It is my understanding that Airbus does not offer Rosemount style probes as an option on the 330 (see pic here and here for A330 pitot and static port locations, as well as AOA's).

This is the Thales tube that AF was using on the accident aircraft here.

Would a Rosemount style probe static port fail if the pitot part of it jammed with inlet ice? I don't know.
