Interesting. At what altitude are TCAS TA/RAs inhibited? Is it automatic or do you go transponder only during the descent?

I'm sure someone else can point out a plane that's different, but on the King Airs/Citations I've flown and the Dash I'm currently on, the TCAS is TA only below 1000' AGL.
