I for one, will not kick sand in other pilots' faces. Stuff happens to good pilots. Anyone who thinks they are "too good" to make mistakes either 1) turns a blind eye to their own follies 2) or just needs to give it time, and something will catch up.
As far a the Fort Dodge thing, not sure what happened, but yeah it's great for small towns to have air service, but throw us a bone! A little more runway length and more than one decent ILS approach do wonders when the weather is less than ideal!! But the airport boards and or the locals whine about this and that until something happens. Then the Monday morning quarterbacks come out, and close the barn door after the cows all got out.
