Turbine shaft broke, good thing it was close to the hanger!

I thought all those phones were suppose to be off for takeoff? It says horizon is investigating what caused the failure, I would blame the guy with his phone on.

Sully must have been at the controls or else they never would have made it!

"Ladies and Gentlemen, from the flight deck, you can thank the passenger with their cell phone on for that terrible landing!"

Good if not great job by the crew. It seems another reason for people not to like those 'darn propeller planes' along with I believe Mesaba had a spat of canning engines during a very cold period a couple years ago.

I seriously doubt it got totally quiet with the other engine running at max continuous. At least the pilotS got their recognition... wait they didn't?

Actually he was nonreving in the back...he rushed to front, seized the controls from the helpless regional pilot, and saved the day.
