I recall a warning sign about this at LGA Rwy 13 (metal pier under the approach end).

Yep... daily occurrence at LGA.

See it all the time on our Dash 8's Usually corrects is self as soon as you rotate. If it doesn't you can turn on the SAHAS for a bit with the flux valve in the tail rather than the wing it usually solves the problem in the Dash 8.

Used to be common at ORD, can't recall which runway.

had it happen years ago flying in the triangle in a DC8. never have had it happen before or again in 31 years of flying.......some type of disturbance out there.
