B00sted - that may be the most ignorant post I've ever read from you. ANY time there's been an incident it's been a Colgan guy?? Really?

I could list off the top of my head a dozen incidents that had nothing do with Colgan pilot.

I'm not saying Colgan guys (myself included) are perfect, but by your logic of course other pilots NEVER make mistakes...

How about the Mesaba crew who dropped the gear at FL350 because of a gear bay overheat warning 45 mins into the flight missing the shaker be a couple knots? Shirley they were Colgan... Because only Colgan made mistakes. You OG 9E guys are ridiculous. 9E was no prize, too bad the blinders wont ever allow you to see that.

Super slow, stick shaker at cruise--- Colgan

Notice a trend?
You probably just jinxed yourself...

Nevermind...

I will never state that any pilot group is "unworthy" of any airframe, nor will I say that Colgan pilots are all bad pilots, that would be nonsense. 9E guys/gals have also done stup!d sh!t in the past.

I will say this though, If you need additional IOE in order to meet current airline standards, then give it to him/her, regardless where they are coming from. Dont sign him/her off until they are ready. 2 turns of IOE in a completely new airframe is just ridiculous IMHO.

Couldn't agree more.....

Don't know where that guy got two turns of OE, think it's at least 25-30 hours mandatory.
