Default Plane off runway at Hobby

Plane veers off runway at Hobby - Houston Chronicle

Plane was scheduled Hobby to Atlanta. Article says Delta but who knows if that is accurate. Anyone hear any details on this?

Looking at some local TV channels, I believe it's a CRJ-900. Last time I checked that morning flight it was Pinnacle but not sure who was doing it now.

article makes it seem like they ran off the ramp or a taxiway, not the runway

Why? Bc people who were originally hired by a different airline are trained to a lessor standard when they transition to pinnacle?

Shouldn't really surprise anyone. Anytime there has been an incident its been a Colgan CA in command.

Super slow, stick shaker at cruise--- Colgan
Super slow final, stick shaker ---- Colgan
Taxi across active runway, causing other plane to abort----Colgan

Notice a trend?
