Default Delta 737 overshoots at KCMH (Columbus)

Columbus news reporting that this mornings LAX-CMH redeye overshot on landing. No injuries or damage reported.

Actually after new pics came out, it was an overrun not a side exit...looks like they ended up sideways to the runway.

I knew an old school Western guy who retired from DAL.

After the Western merger, the Delta folks referred to themselves as "RD" (Real Delta). The Western people referred to the legacy Delta types as "BMs" (Before Merger).

While during the NWA/DAL process you had NeRD for Never Really Delta. As well as the mantra "you were acquired, NOT hired" way of thinking. You could probably find it on some of the threads from yore here.
