Suicidal Cirrus Pilot

Cirrus Pilot Admits To Suicide Attempt In Flight | Aero-News Network

Anyone see this one in the news? First off...It's never that bad that you have to off yourself. Second, *** was this guy thinking? If you want to kill yourself, I don't care if you do this on the moon....you're putting some innocent person on the ground at risk. Not to mention he gives pilots a bad name. I hope they charge him with reckless endangerment and some sort of other charge for doing something so careless. Not to mention keep him in some sort of mental facility. This sort of thing is just uncalled for.

Suicide is a tragic event for the friends and family, but it may be acceptable if done with a minimum of bother and danger to your fellow man.

Perhaps it is the failure to carry out the last mission one gives to oneself that underlines a lifetime of ineptitude.

Another one - very sad

On April 20, 2013, between 0600 and 0720 mountain standard time, an experimental amateur built ******* RV-4, N194BD, crashed at Bullhead City Airport (IFP), Bullhead City, Arizona. The owner/pilot was operating the airplane under the provisions of 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 91. The commercial pilot sustained fatal injuries as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound; the airplane sustained substantial damage by impact forces. The cross-country personal flight departed Cottonwood, Arizona, sometime after 0600 with an unknown destination. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed, and no flight plan had been filed
