Witness reports stated the aircraft nose went "near vertical"...RIP. Rough month for Afghan flyers. F-16 lost early in the month, along with the MC-12 that crashed Saturday.

It's possible but I doubt it. Most of that stuff is headed out of country due to the withdrawal.

Doubtful. Likely onloaded at Bagram as part of the ongoing drawdown.

Weather is available for Bagram, it's KQSA. I personally landed there 40 prior to the crash and can say, there was a lot of low level shear on approach. 180 degree shear at 400-500 feet on final

Not saying that caused anything, just noting.

sadly, I guess we will find out soon what was onboard. Sad day for all. crew, witnesses, emergency types....


oddly every time I fly into Kandahar, it gets larger each time (monthly)

Flew two trips out of Bagram last month....both back hauling M'Raps to be moved stateside
