'...a possibly of a near-by explosion that might have sent the object flying through the air...' :D

Seems it would be easier to verify the occurance of an explosion nearby and the possibily that a single piece of debris travels so far from said explosion is funny in my opinion.

I am not saying it was from a UFO... but it was from a UFO. :)

That’s a picture of a BSLAM. Folks here in Virginia make these and then cast them with all their might hoping that when they hit the water and sink, they strike the Bass on the head and knock them out. Netting them afterwards is easy-peasy. Must have come loose from the line and hurdled through the air until it struck the woman’s house. A common danger from this type of fishing in these parts. :D

Turns out the mystery projectile came from a woodchipper.
