Improve Situation of awareness in the cockpit

Hi, just wanted to say that I want to improve the situation of awareness in the cockpit and wanted to invite people to participate in my surveillance in my study, the pilots will have the opportunity to get familiar with how engineers redesign the instruments regarding the human factor ( such as using the Human error template to see where errors occurs , and Human Task Analysis which they will be train in how a procedure is split in such ways that the guys from safety department can improve them). Also want to mention that this information I had to pay a lot to get my hands on). So I am willing to give my knowledge to pilots in reward of their time ( taking part of an surveillance to improve the Situation of Awareness regarding the instruments on board, it will take maximum 40 minutes with the explanations also). Please help me to understand what I need to do so I will be able to be approved here. Many thanks George. P.S. I'm currently undergoing a MSc at Cranfield Univ. UK.

Do you understand that "Situational Awareness" is the common term, and "Situation of Awareness" is barely comprehensible English?

I'd expect that someone "studying" this field would know the proper term for it.

Hi George,

Ignore derisive comments and give us a few sample questions from your survey so we can evaluate it. And do read this site's guidelines regarding Aviation Surveys here: http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/av...ing-forum.html

Good luck with your studies.

Cheers,
Nick
