Imagine the horror on newscasts if it comes out the FO was flying.

Breaking news: CNN aviation "expert" reporting that since the thrust reverser is not deployed in the picture, it's possible that the airplane had a thrust reverser malfunction.

In other news, the engines weren't running either so I suspect a dual engine failure.
