DCI Flight Diverts for pressurization loss

Flight from South Carolina to LaGuardia Diverted After Cabin Loses Pressure | NBC New York

Well done by the crew, anyone have any details on what caused the loss of pressurization?

Gee thanks... :)

Guess I was thinking there may be some folks here from Endeavor that may be willing to chime in if they knew anything... Having flown the 900 I know there are many things both mechanical and switch error that could cause this problem. :D

Yes. There was a separation of something on the Left Bleed line in the aft equipment bay. Pressurized air entered the tail cone and was vented overboard. Airplane had a slow depressurization, and by slow it was probably 4 minutes for the cabin to reach 8500 feet and 5 or 6 for 10000ish.

I just LOVED the (.....)waffle who posted a selfie and commented her "thanks" to Delta for the oxygen mask drop and diversion at 7am. Are you kidding me? Thank God she added her thanks for the crew landing the plane safely. I really, REALLY hate some people, sometimes. Glad the media ate it up and used it on CNN.com as well as NBC.com..so far. I wonder if she's making the morning news show rounds. I'm in Europe, so someone let me know....or not. ;)

I wake up by watching Robin Meade to get my daily dose of milf however the other morning she said something incredible about this. She complained about how the masks popped and she bet the pilots didn't even make a PA when it happened and was complaining about wanting information. Yup lets divert the pilots attention away from handling the emergency and to making another uhhhhhh PA
