Quote: Why would the Teamsters have egg on their face? The NMB doesn't ice people unless they are out to lunch on their demands and refuse to budge. One side puts out an LBFO and the other side sticks their fingers in their ears, closes their eyes says "neener, neener" and won't put it out for a vote
Sounds more like the NMB has more groups that are serious in wanting their help.
yeah we get it that you're butt hurt the union undermined your ability to vote yes to concessions to solidfy your seat in whatever miserable outstation you live in now go away

Quote: The sort of "help" that the NMB has provided this situation is not the kind that RJET pilots need.

I'd also like to hear from those in the know regarding the one person (FL) who serves on both the E-Board and the recently departed NC. Has he expressed his thoughts? Also, how is his relationship with the rest of the E-Board?
The eboard speaks in one voice. You will not hear individual opinions from the members. You can guess how FL feels by his resigning from the NC, but you'll never hear his opinion.

If that is the case, then it's up to the pilots to send a message to everyone including their own reps.

A. If it's the old garbage, then yes, your reps sold you out in the hope the majority would crumble.

B. If it has acceptable improvements to significant standards, then it was management that caved.

The worst situation is if it was;

C. Just sweetened enough to get a majority vote and in that case, see A.

No. thank you. ( for proving once again that pilots are only concerned about what is best for them, not the future or the career).

In my opinion, Jim Clarke caved when the NMB put 357 on ice. I have just received conformation from (whom I consider a reliable source), that the NC resigning was more of a protest than a feeling of being able to go no further in negotiations. I now fully believe the E board sold the pilots out, and it is my belief that it was likely under pressure from ALD and that clown Bourne.

( oh and don't give me crap about using JC full name, as his name is all over the media announcements of this new TA.)

I flew with a guy a few weeks ago that had six figures worth of republic stock (bought below 3.00). After listening to him for a few days I bought $400 worth and cashed out today.

Actually I nominate you sir for totd. Pilots should be concerned with what's good for them and the career as a whole, especially financially.
Fault a guy for making some dough? Dam APC is rough.
