In reality, all new indoor pets start with the same name:

"NO, NO, G*D D*MMIT, NO!".

It's accompanied by a rush of adrenaline and a race for the carpet cleaner (dogs) or speaker covers/blinds (cats).

What about waiting a while and letting the cat earn her name, like call signs?

Thanks for all the suggestions. It was a difficult choice, but her name is Mayday.

Someone abandoned this kitten so I am looking after it for the time being. I want it to have an aviation themed name and I am looking for some suggestions. So far, possible names include TOGA, EFIS, and Zulu.
Good on you for taking care of it - my wife says it's a cute kitten -

Good luck with your waiver as well! Hopefully what goes around comes around!

What a good look'en little girl, good on you for the rescue.

You will be told this every time you go to a Vet, but a female Orange Tabby is very rare.

Mine is most loyal cat I've ever had (rescue animals just seem to know how good they have it).......enjoy.
