Quote: Oh look, another newbie that's got it all figured out. You'd probably have better luck playing the odds in Vegas. And why put Endeavor into the equation, do you really think Delta would want to fly American passengers, or the other way around for that matter.
I never said I had it "figured out" nor do I really care to try to. Assuming I'm a newbie because I don't sit on APC and have triple or quadruple number posts is presumptuous. I've been in the industry long enough to know that we all don't know anything about what's going to happen tomorrow. I've also flown in places that your ILS approach and hot coffee won't be found...

I simply laid out the realistic means of what I THINK.

Endeavor is just a bleeding deer that was shot and wandered off into the woods to die...

SKW may have 3,000+ pilots, but why would they take on a large fleet additive from AA when they have their own coming?

In the end - we are the pawns...and sooner or later when management and the fat pocketed head honchos figure out how to masquerade the board for their checkmate - there will still be the "newbies"/scabs willing to fly the planes for less than we're worth.

Fair enough. I guess I missed the part where you said "I think". I'm still trying to figure out why you keep bringing up Endeavor, and what they have to do with American. Anyway, good luck to all

You're right - I should have never included them in, but I was thinking of places that had no reason to even be in the mix.

And I agree with the fact that Compass can't take them - I was just saying that they have potential to take a few - considering they have the program and a proven track record with the 175, but my end goal was to prove that it's a small percentage of a possibility.

I hope Envoy gets them and AAG get's there head out of their you know what and stops offering mcdonalds wages for 2000nm aircraft...that's not REGIONAL.

But why pay more than pilots are willing to take.......the sad fact is that the public still thinks we make 1970 wages and have the "why did you kick my dog" look when I inform them of the wages guys make flying 80,000lb pieces of metal everyday.

Personally, nothing would make me happier than AAG trying to find a home for their airplanes and not being able to find one. Actually, AAG having to eat crow and offer their pilots, at Envoy, the airplanes and more money would make me happier.

There's not enough pilots to cover growth anywhere at the rates they want to pay. Game over. It's time to sweeten the pot a little

Ultimately its probably cheaper to cancel the order and just pay whatever cancellation fee was negotiated. Either that or some regional elects to get rid of some of there 50 seaters and replace them with these - ie no expansion.
