We will all find out soon enough how this whole debacle is going to play out but, IMHO, all the company rhetoric for reduced BLG is directly related to the DC-10 aircraft being parked and nothing more.
The company never came up with a solid game plan on how to park the DC-10 and what to do with the pilots and how to reshuffle the deck. There are nearly 300 pilots still on the -10 that the company does NOT want to pay full BLG for.
I would not be surprised one bit it the FEB sched for the Bus and -11 were still built to 60+hours while the DC-10 is built at the min 48. Hopefully the union will step up and let the company know that we the pilots, protected by a contract, should NOT have to lose flesh for managements poor decisions.
