unaccompanied minor on non-rev?

Does anyone know where I can find information on American Airlines' or PSA's non rev policies in regards to unaccompanied minors? I would like to use the PSA travel benefits to fly my 11 year old son to visit family, so I need to find out if that is possible/allowed.

It’s possible and allowed.

Thanks. Do you know if there is a written policy on it? Unaccompanied minors typically incur a cost. Is there one with non-revng unaccompanied minors? Can we escort them to the departure gate? Do we need to make special arrangements at the arrival gate?

It is great to know it is possible and allowed. Now I just need to figure out the details and the requirements to make it happen. I am a new airline employee, so it doesn't help that this will probably be our first use of the travel benefits.

Employee travel guide should have all of the answers. If not, call the AA "1-888-" number.
