I keep hearing different things about southwest hiring. Are they actively calling people for interviews or just draining the pool?

Not at SW, but have stopped interviews until late winter early spring. As I understand it the last class of the year will be in November.

Why are they going to be at the job fair if they are not hiring? Anyone been to a job fair recently where SWA has been...what are they saying?

Last I heard there are 400 in the pool, they should be in class by late summer/early fall. If I had to guess, they want to reduce the pool size, yet have applicants on hand ready to interview.

I wonder who they are going to buy???
