i don't know about other places, or a central clearing house for information (like this is for airline pilots), but skywest is hiring dispatchers. http://www.skywest.com/careers/121ai...atch/121ad.php is the page with information for skywest, at least. good luck.

Republic is hiring dispatchers. its on their jobs page which is the same one on the apc page about them.

Since one of our FA's is getting ready to go to school, I'm a little more up on this than most.

No aviation experience is required. If you are employed as a pilot at a 121 carrier, your training is much shorter. Think weeks instead of months.

Pay ranges from regional captain to near captain pay at a major.

It can take months to get a slot at a good school. It's not cheap, either.

Just like us, you start at smaller carriers. Mostly regionals, then work your way up the food chain.

Colgan Air Dispatchers
Anyone have any info on Colgan and the QOL of their dispatchers ?? I know they are based in Manassas, Va.
