If I conflict training with a large block of Rdays can I also protect min days off to get more days off?

For example I have 19 Rdays +2 Rday carryover. If I wipe out seven rdays with training can I also protect min days off to drop 2 more Rdays?

You can drop rdays whenever you want. We're overmanned. I have dropped 10 of my 15 rdays this month.

Not in the back and right of 72. Probably can only drop 10% of days.

Oh. For some reason I thought you were in the 11. Anyway, if you conflict with a large line of rdays, they will be dropped, and it's up to you to make up however many days that you wish to.

I think you have to conflict with the middle of the string, not the ends. But I could be wrong.

Do they protect min days off then drop the string or drop the string and say you already have min days off. In my example how many Rdays would I have?

# Following the award during the Conflict Processing Window, a trip or block of R-days in conflict with the recurrent training session award shall be treated as a phase-in conflict as provided in Section 25.F. (e.g., the trip or R-day(s) shall be dropped and be eligible for make-up under the CIA assignment code), with the pilot having the ability to enter bids during the following View/Add Window. Conflicts with blocks of R-days under this paragraph shall be handled as follows:

1. If the pilot’s recurrent training conflicts with a block of R-days but does not split that block (i.e., it does not leave an R-day(s) both before and after the recurrent training), then only the R-days in conflict with recurrent training shall be dropped as a phase-in conflict and the pilot shall remain responsible for the remaining R-days.
2. If the pilot’s recurrent training splits a block of R-days, then the entire block shall be dropped as a phase-in conflict and the pilot shall not be responsible for any of the R-days in that block.
