I got to drive our M88 tank recovery vehicle last summer at AT. It was a blast, crazy to think the thing weighs more than the aircraft I fly!

Not quite as thrilling when it's 10 degrees outside and the heater will warm one boot. That, or having your head sticking out of the cupola in the driving rain. They have periscopes, so they are called, but it's a series of mirrors and you can't see crap through them.

Can't believe it's been almost 40 years since I drove one. Also spent some time in M551 Sheridan. That was at least comfortable in the drivers seat.
