Well that title ought to at least get this thread read...trying to help a friend out and hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.
So there's a little country in Africa called Burkina Faso. A good friend of mine has helped out their military/government by supplying them with a few airplanes and helping out with a few logistical issues over the years. They fly a VIP B727-200 which at the moment is piloted by a contract crew. A little while ago, the Air Force sent 2 of their pilots down to Sanford, FL to get type rated in the B727 with the goal of replacing the contract pilots at some future date. They have since returned to their country but now wish to get a "signoff", ie. several landings and perhaps a short x-cntry flight from a left-seat B727 qualified instructor (does not need to be FAA check airman or DE qualified).
I know this sounds bizarre...but it is for real and they are willing to send YOU on an all- expense paid trip to - yes - AFRICA to go have fun in the sun!
So if anyone out there has any contacts or experience in the B727 and knows someone who might fit the bill, please PM me.
A pic of their aircraft is below...
Thanks!
