I have an interview with TSA coming up. I was wondering if there were any TSA pilots on here and what their experience is working for the company? I am really excited but also want an honest answer of what this company is like. I have heard good and bad. Please let me know....thanks

I'll bite on this zombie thread and take a stroll down memory lane.

"The Tranny is the biggest scam in aviation! Yeah, it may be ALPA but working for TSA is basically being a scab and slagging down the rest of the hardworking men and women in this profession who are actually trying to lift themselves up, especially now that GoJet is set to run them out of business. Why don't you keep instructing until you have like 800TT and apply to somewhere reputable, like Comair or Expressjet?"

...Because I live in STL and chatauqua is closing their base?

Ah, mid to late 2000s memories...

One thing I will always remember about TSA: Paul Hopkins as the MEC Chair. His Dad authored the two ALPA must read volumes - Flying the Line. Met them both at an ALPA BOD though I corresponded with Paul long before that.
If you have the inclination get those and Hard Landing by Petzinger

Never had the pleasure of meeting Paul but I did read Flying the Line Vol 1 and 2. 2 is a little bit of a slog but I found Vol 1 fascinating.
