The most junior line holder has a total of 14 days off.

Starting on the 1st of July. They work 5 days then off for 2 days then 4 more on then two off. Followed by 4 more on then 4 more off. Then 4 more days working then off for 6 days at the end of the month.

Reserve is 11 days total of in months with 30 days and 12 days in months with 31. You basically bid for your off days

Hope this helps

Thanks! Any sense of commutability (do trips start early in the am and finish late evening)?

There's a pretty good variety of commutable / non commutable. Basically depends on how you bid and what your seniority allows you to hold.

My commute isn't the easiest. With that said the 8 months I was an fo my schedule was generally commutable. On average I used 2 or three commuter hotels a month...even as a junior lineholder.

Quote: This schedule is for the most junior lineholder. Not the most junior pilot. Reserve schedules are all 13 days off and long call goes senior.
Reserve is 11 days off, 12 days off in bid periods that are 31 days. If reserve allowed for 13 days off per month it would allow for more stretches with 3 consecutive days off.

For example, August is a 30 day bid period.
Let's say you wanted all weekends off, with 11 days you could pick 3 sets of days off that give you three consecutive days (Sat, Sun, Mon) then your last weekend off would be 2 days (Sat and Sun, or Sun and Mon). In PBS this would require you to waive a stretch of 4 days off, or if not you'd end up with two sets of 2 days off.
